Seta Colonia is one of the leading European suppliers of fabrics and ready-made articles of pure silk. Our silks originate in China, the birthplace of sericulture dating back thousands of years.
In 2002 Seta Colonia followed the rich in tradition company ISPERT from Cologne, a pioneer in the trade with China after the second world war.
Seta Colonia and our Chinese partners are silk specialists enjoying excellent relations with the Chinese textile industry. Our partners' personnel is in charge of the yarn selection and the quality control in China. The staff members are permanently in direct contact with the spinning and weaving mills.
Seta Colonia is operating on the German and on the European market. Our customers are the finishing industry (dyeing and printing mills), the manufacturers of garments, accessories and interior textiles, fabric wholesalers, as well as companies in the handicraft trade (hand-painting on silk) and in the textile art.
